Police are appealing for information after a 20-year-old man had his mobile phone stolen. At around 10.30pm on Thursday, May 25 the man was walking along the Nutbrook Trail, between Ladywood Road in Kirk Hallam and Straw’s Bridge in Ilkeston.
The victim was grabbed from behind by a man, while a second man stole his phone and a set of keys from his pockets. The men then ran off in the direction of Ladywood Road. One of the offenders is described as wearing a dark hooded top, with the hood pulled up and a scarf covering his face. Officers would also like to trace a man who was seen riding a motorbike along the trail at the time of the incident.
