THREE motorbikes were seized and youths were prosecuted after police upped patrols on the Nutbrook Trail.
Officers spent two days patrolling the 10-mile path between Shipley Country Park and Long Eaton last weekend after receiving complaints from walkers about nuisance riders.
As well as the bike seizures, youths were shopped for having no insurance, no licence, no number plates, no helmet, no tax and driving without due care and attention.
Pc Leanne Peck said: “We had a very successful couple of days.
“We will continue to patrol the areas and target any individuals committing these offences.”
