Sexual assault on teen aboard coach

A passenger on a coach is alleged to have sexually assaulted a teenage girl, police have said.

The man, described as Asian and aged between 30 and 35, sat next to the 15-year-old and allegedly touched her thigh inappropriately over her clothes.

The man was confronted by passengers and the driver before he got off in Leicester.

The incident took place on a coach travelling from London to Derby on the evening of Monday September 3, 2012. The coach left London Victoria at 8.30pm.

The victim from Long Eaton told her mother who reported the incident the next day.

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which can be viewed here.
