A reward of up to £10,000 is being offered after a botched armed raid on an Ilkeston bookmakers.
Earlier this month two men burst into Coral bookmakers in Nottingham Road armed with a shotgun.
They fired a shot at two terrified female members of staff before making off empty-handed.
Neither staff member was injured although both were left badly shaken up, police said.
The Association of British Bookmakers has put up the money for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robbers who were involved.
The raid happened at the bookies on the corner of Little Hallam Lane at about 9.30pm on Wednesday April 17.
The suspects were described as white and in their early 20s.
They were both wearing dark clothing with hoods up and handkerchiefs tied around their faces.
They may have been carrying what looked like a pool cue in a cover.
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
