Teen robbed in street

A teenager had his mobile phone stolen by two youths in the street, police have said.

The 16-year-old was walking with a friend along Wilsthorpe Road, Long Eaton, close to the junction with Cranfleet Way, when they were approached by two teenage boys.

One youth threatened the friends before taking the 16-year-old’s mobile phone and running off with his accomplice.

The youth who threatened the boys is described as white, aged about 16 and 5ft 6ins tall.

He wore a black hooded top with red stripes on the arm and black tracksuit bottoms.

The incident happened at about 7.35pm on Friday, January 4.
