TWO men have appeared in court charged with attacking a Kirk Hallam man with a broken bottle last summer.
Lee Flinders, of Nutbrook Crescent, denied wounding Kellie Paylor, better known as Ashley, on July 22 last year in Queen Elizabeth Way.
Samual Freeman, of Wirksworth Road, pleaded guilty to the attack on the 26-year-old and he will be sentenced after Flinders stands trial at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday April 23.
Recorder Nicholas Syfret told the 19-year-old in court on Monday that he faced jail.
Flinders, 30, faced a further charge of intimidating Mr Paylor with threats of violence on July 24, which he also denied.
A 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was sentenced to 18 months in a young offenders’ institute last month for the attack.
Both defendants were given bail but Flinders must not talk to three prosecution witnesses.
