Police in Ilkeston made an extra appeal for information about a hit and run case from four years ago, which left a father-of-two dead.

Chf Insp Steve Wilson, head of roads policing in Derbyshire, said this morning (Thursday) that new technological advances might help to bring the driver who struck Paul Davis to justice.

Mr Davis, 37, was killed yards from his home in Corportation Road on Sunday August 10, 2008 – exactly four years ago tomorrow – after a night out with friends.
