Day to find out more about local history
THIS weekend visitors to an Ilkeston museum have the chance to find out more about local history and community groups in the borough.
The Heritage Day on Saturday runs from 10am to 3pm at Erewash Museum in High Street.
Representatives from the groups, including the Friends of Erewash Museum will be there, as well as information stalls on the work they do in the community.
Visitors can find out how to get involved with Erewash Borough Council’s award-winning Museum, recently voted Derbyshire Museum of the Year.
