dinosaur sculptures are drawing crowds to Erewash Musuem.

The exhibition, including a life size model of a T-Rex’s skull went on display this week.

There are 18 sculptures for people to see, ranging from 2ft to 8ft tall.

The models, crafted by Derbyshire artist Andy Hill, are on show in the museum’s Lally Gallery.

Councillor Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Culture and Leisure, said: “Erewash Museum always offers a wide variety of interesting and exciting activities and exhibitions and this display will certainly be a spectacular sight.

“This is the first time the museum has opened during January and the dinosaur sculptures are certainly a great way to celebrate the occasion.

“The display is definitely a not-to-be-missed one so I would encourage everyone to visit and have their own modern day ‘walking with dinosaurs’ experience.”
