Drivers are urged to look for bikes
A road safety partnership is urging drivers to watch out for bikes.
Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership has revealed new research indicating that more than half of drivers are ‘often surprised when a rider appears from nowhere’.
Mike Ashworth, of the road safety partnership, said: “Our advice is to look twice for bikes.”
