PUPILS at Ladywood Primary School were treated to a willow workshop by a top Ilkeston artist.
Rachel Carter, visited the school and helped pupils craft willow branches into a beetle and caterpillar sculpture.
They also made a butterfly and ladybird with recycled materials.
Arts co-ordinator, Daisy Thornley, said: “All of the children loved getting involved, they were buzzing.
“Every year had a hand in making the sculptures which will be part of our outdoor classroom area.
“Rachel was brilliant and the children really loved working with her and the results.”
