A men’s clothing store run by two brothers has moved to new premises in the centre of Ilkeston.

Eighty Eight, run by Ilkeston brothers Ashley and Scott Allen, has moved from premises on Nottingham Road to the former Dyl and Co shop in Bath Street.

The store, which specialises in premium menswear and streetwear, official opens today (Thursday) and a official launch party will be held tonight to celebrate.

Eighty Eight began as an online venture and proved so popular that the brothers were able to open a shop in November last year. They were given a shop front grant from Erewash Borough Council to pay for the shop signs.

The business takes its name from the year that Ashley was born.

Eighty Eight stocks T-shirts, trainers, hoods and sweats, polo shirts, vests, bags and belts, with brands including Liam Gallagher’s label Pretty Green.
