AN ILKESTON-BASED charity has received a £10,000 National Lottery grant to help with its work supporting women with its WISH (Women Improving Skills and Health) programme.
Community Concern Erewash found out it would get the cash on Tuesday.
Chief executive, Brenda Davies MBE, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have got the funding.
“The Wish programme supports women who have confidence issues, low self-esteem and a host of other worries.
“We are really happy to receive the money as it will mean we can help even more women.”
Anyone interested in the scheme should call Elaine at Community Concern Erewash on 0115 9444146.
