PUPILS will decide on how money raised at their summer fair will be spent.
The school council at Granby Junior School will be put in charge of the purse strings after the event on Friday raised £1,500.
Attractions at the Heanor Road fair included a plant stall, jewellery sale, nail painting, bouncy castle, ice creams, a chocolate fountain and hot food.
Kirsty Andrews, business mananger for the school, said: “It went really, really well.
“The children loved it and parents, neighbours and friends of the school all supported it and were very generous.
“The school council will decide what the money should be spent on at their next meeting.”
