DERBYSHIre Fire and Rescue Service are looking for members of the community to join the ranks and become an on call firefighter.
Applicants would need to attend one training night a week, which takes a minimum of two and a half hours, and live and work only one mile away from their local fire station as they need to be able to get there within five minutes of being called out.
Recruits are needed across the county.
Area Manager Gavin Tomlinson said: “The role of on-call firefighters is absolutely vital to us. These men and women play a huge role in helping us to keep the people of Derbyshire safe and this is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in your community.”
