A primary school football team has scored a winner after it received a free football kit.
Fairfield Primary School was presented with their new clobber during a special assembly by Source Bioscience.
Manager of the school team and teacher Don Mason was delighted with the yellow and black strip, which sports the Nottingham firm’s logo.
“We wrote in to the company with little hope of hearing from them,” he explained.
“But when we had confirmation that we were to get a kit our young players were over the moon.”
Laurie Turnbull, chairman of Source Bioscience, and chief executive Nick Ash started the Kits for Schools project to encourage young people to play more sport.
