Full marks for new GP system

Madam, In response to an article printed in the Advertiser a few months ago about the Littlewick Medical Centre, I have recently had cause to ring for an appointment to see my doctor and experience their new appointment system first hand.

After giving my details to the receptionist, I was told that my preferred doctor would ring me.

A short while later, the doctor rang, we discussed the reason for my call, he then decided that he would like to see me in the surgery and made an appointment for me to see him later that day.

I arrived at the due time to be seen immediately by my doctor, who was already prepared for me after our telephone call and my problem duly dealt with, in record time.

As a long-standing patient of the Littlewick Medical Centre, I remember the days of Miss Swindell and wooden benches in the waiting room and so today's Littlewick Medical Centre bears little in common other than the ground it is built on.

I would like to give the new surgery and appointment system full marks for being very 'patient friendly' and extremely efficient.
