SMALLEY Pre-school held a summer fayre on Saturday.
School manager Debbie Lamb said the event was held to raise funds for the school. She said: “We’re a registered charity and we rely on fundraising to maintain the school.”
The fayre ran from 11am to 2pm and featured a bouncy castle, a performance by Long Eaton Brass Band, a penalty shoot-out, hoopla and a barbeque. There were also stalls and a raffle.
Debbie added: “It was lovely – really sunny. We had about 250 people, which is pretty good. And everybody had a fun time.”
