Members of a community group who set up a charity fund to raise money for a Stapleford toddler suffering with cancer are set to hold an additional fundraiser.
Two-year-old Bethany Topley is currently in Oklahoma City receiving specialist radiotherapy, funded by the NHS, to treat a rare cancer form she has suffered from since she was 11 months old.
Her family, including her brother, Caine, five, are currently by her side thanks to charity donations, as their living expenses were not covered by the NHS.
Members of Stapleford Community group will now hold a fundraising coffee and cake sale this Saturday from 10am until 2pm at the Montrose Court Community Centre.
There will also be a raffle with prizes which have been donated by local Stapleford businesses.
The community fund has already raised more than £300 but members are still requesting donations.
