Residents are being asked for their views on polling stations in the borough.
Erewash Borough Council has launched the review ahead of the General Election and Local Government and Parish elections that will take place in May next year, and residents have until Monday December 1 to share their views.
The council is particularly keen to receive comments concerning the location, size and accessibility of the stations.
In addition, residents can make suggestions for new or alternative venues for use as polling stations.
Councillor Carol Hart, Deputy Leader and Lead Member for Community Engagement, said: “This is an important review to ensure we have the polling stations in place that are right for the local community.”
Leaflets giving details of the review are available from Ilkeston and Long Eaton town halls, while residents can email comments to email@example.com or write to Electoral Services, Town Hall, Ilkeston, DE7 5RP.
