ILKESTON residents have been invited to have their say on the future of the NHS in the borough at events starting this week.
NHS Erewash – the group which will be responsible for millions of pounds of NHS services from April 2013 – has said the event at the Arena from 2.30pm to 4pm today (Thursday) is a chance to talk about ‘tailoring NHS services around patient need’.
Members of the group, led by Long Eaton GP Dr Avi Bhatia, will be seeking views from residents about what their health priorities are.
Dr Bhatia said: “These events are the start of a real and meaningful conversation about what we can all do to better direct NHS resources.”
