Heartfelt thanks to poppy helpers

I would like to thank everyone who has been involved this year in the appeal.

The distributors who took out the poppies and then collected all the cash in, the shops and businesses selling the poppy, the individuals who gave of their own time to sell poppies in the shops, the Ilkeston Army and Air Force cadets who gave their time selling poppies and the Mayor and our MP Jessica Lee, who also gave their time to sell poppies.

I would also like to thank the few who gave their time counting out all the money, and the staff at the NatWest bank who were so helpful, and lastly all those who so kindly gave their money to the poppy appeal.

Also thanks go to The Ilkeston Rotary Club, whose members valiantly helped us out by giving their valuable time with selling poppies in Ilkeston.

This money will go to help all those who so badly need the support and help.

You may like to know that we also had a donation from our troops serving in camp Bastion in Afghanistan.

My heartfelt thanks to you all.
