Homes officially open

families have moved into affordable housing built on what was derelict and unused land in Long Eaton.

The 12 homes, including three suitable for people with disabilities, have been built on the site of the former Petersham Hotel on Grasmere Road thanks to a partnership project between Erewash Borough Council, Nottingham Community Housing Association and the Homes and Communities Agency.

Cllr Carol Hart, Erewash Borough Council’s deputy leader and lead member for community engagement, said: “This development has been a great example of partnership working and demonstrates our continued commitment to providing homes within our communities that are affordable and thoughtfully designed for residents and their changing needs.”
