Football sessions, cake decorating and self defence classes are just some of the activities on offer in Ilkeston this half term.
Local charity Direct Help & Advice on Bath Street are running free ‘taster’ sessions which take place over the five days during October half-term in Ilkeston.
All activities are suitable for ages 13-19 year old and are funded by Derbyshire County Council.
Teenagers can chose from professional football coaching sessions with Derby County Football Club, self-defence classes, cake decorating, horse riding, street dance, trips to bowling and the cinema, photography and MC’ing and music sessions.

Disability tennis taster sessions are also on offer during the school’s break at Ilkeston Tennis Club, based at the Indoor Centre Rutland Sports Park.
Sessions are running on Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 October.
