Appeal after pony goes missing with sledge attached

Missing pony, Smalley.

A miniature pony – with a blue sledge attached to its back – has been reported missing in the Smalley area,

He was last spotted on Wednesday on the A608 between Heanor and Derby and his owners, from Kirk Hallam, are desperate to get him back.

Lisa Henshaw wrote on the Ilkeston Advertiser Facebook page this morning (Friday): “The pony was loose at rush hour – the more sightings we have may help to pin point the pony’s whereabouts.

“Let’s get this little guy home to his owners safe and well.”

A police spokesman said his owners reported it missing today.
