Fitness fanatics open new gym

A TRIO of local fitness fanatics have given up their day jobs to club together and open up a new gym in Ilkeston.
Friends Chris Law, Jonny Marshall and Helen Wright joined forces to open up Platinum Gym and Fitness, on Booths Industrial Estate, Awsworth Road.
The new gym has transformed a once derelict building into a state-of-the-art gym.
Co-owner Chris Law said: “The main gym caters for all boxing, power lifting, body building, fitness and toning needs using brand new state-of-the-art gym equipment.
“We guarantee everyone a good workout and the feel good factor.”
Zumba, boxercise and dance classes will all be held in the fitness and dance studio.
