‘Flasher’ arrested after indecent exposure on trail

A SUSPECTED flasher has been arrested on the Nutbrook Trail, police in Ilkeston have said.

On Monday at about 9.30am, a woman walking her dogs saw a man expose himself between Straw’s Bridge and Manner Floods, in the area known as The Screens.

She said the offender was white, wearing a dark woollen hat, glasses, a dark anorak and dark trousers.

He was also carrying a walking stick.

Police are keen to trace a man and woman who were walking their dog nearby at the time.

The victim spoke to the couple and thinks they saw the man too.

A 38-year-old man, who lives in Ilkeston, has been questioned and released on police bail while further enquiries are made.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
