Ilkeston woman attacked from behind

Police are investigating an assault in Ilkeston.

A 31-year-old woman was walking along Charlotte Street at around 7.30pm on Thursday, January 31, when she was attacked from behind. She was pushed to the floor and pulled along the pavement.

The victim suffered bruising and extensive grazing. She was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital for treatment.

She did not see who attacked her.
