Liz hands out certificates

Two Ilkeston mums have received certificates for completing National Childbirth Trust training to become breastfeeding peer counsellors.

MP for Erewash Liz Blackman handed them the certificates to Angela Lindsey from Cotmanhay and Katrina Jones from West Hallam at the Long Eaton Health Centre.

The training was organised as part of a partnership between Derbyshire County Primary Care Trust and SureStart Children's Centres.

Liz Blackman said: "Angela and Katrina told me they are now joining other mums in the Ilkeston Cradles group. The group help and support mothers who want to breastfeed their babies and if anyone is interested in knowing more about breastfeeding they can contact the group on 0790 068 2980."
