Man sought over purse theft

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a purse theft in Long Eaton.

The purse, which belonged to a 60-year-old woman, was stolen from Argos on Thursday January 17 at around 11am.

She had put the purse down on the counter while browsing through a catalogue.

The man was seen entering the store with a woman around the time of the theft.

He is described as white, in his late 30s with shaved dark brown hair and wearing a brown jacket with stripes down the sleeves and jeans.

Anyone with information should call Derbyshire  Police on 101 or Crimestoppers   anonymously on 0800 555 111.
