Man violently assaulted in Long Eaton

A 20-year-old man suffered a fractured eye socket after he was assaulted during a night out on January 7 at around 1am.

One of three men who approached the victim in the Market Place began pushing the victim and punching him in the face.

The two friends he was with tried to intervene but they were also assaulted.

The victim has described his attacker as white, aged around 17 and 6ft 3ins tall. He had blonde spiked hair

and blue eyes. He wore jeans and blue polo shirt. The men he was with were both in their early to mid-20s.

One was white, about 6ft 3ins tall with blonde hair. The other man was mixed race and about 5ft 6ins tall.
