New dealership opens its doors

Two new car dealership have opened in Ilkeston on the site of the old Co-operative Motor Group.

Bristol Street Motors has officially opened its newly acquired Peugeot and Nissan dealerships in Derby Road.

Robert Forrester, chief executive of Vertu Motors, said: “The former Co-operative Motor Group dealership in Ilkeston has a great reputation and its colleagues are known for their excellent knowledge and customer service skills.”

He said he plans to expand further in the area.

As well as Nissans and Peugeots buyers can snap up more than 100 used cars.

The site employs a team of 45 colleagues.
