New venue granted premises licence

An alcohol licence has been granted for Sandiacre’s Springfield Hall, or the former methodist church.

The venue will be used for private parties and for clubs and associations to hire out.

It has been also given permission for recorded music and performances of dance.

Proposed opening hours are Monday-Thursday from 10am-midnight and Friday-Sunday from 10am-1am.

Erewash Borough Council’s licensing panel agreed the application subject to two conditions.

Noise must be kept at a level agreed with the Environmental Health Department and the fire exit door must be fitted with an alarm which sounds when it is opened.
