A charity is hoping to give its homeless clients valuable experience by selling items to customers via its new eBay charity shop.

Kevin Curtis, project manager at Canaan Trust in Long Eaton, said the skills they learn will ‘look positive and proactive on their CVs’, while helping to fund the organisation.

Visiting the trust, Cllr Kewal Athwal said it was ‘a win-win situation’ and donated some of his own stock, including women’s clothes and handbags, from his firm Gift Warehouse.
