Poppy honour for Terry

Terry Hall from Stanley Village and his medal for 35 years of service to the Poppy Appeal.

A former serviceman with the Royal Navy has helped to raise thousands for the Poppy Appeal over the last 35 years.

Terry Hall, of Stanley, was presented with a medal by Ilkeston’s Royal British Legion earlier this month.

He said: “It is the wonderful generosity and cause we support that make the Poppy Appeal so successful.”
