Power firm funds new room at hospice

Simon Havill and Dave Croydon, Kathy Longden, Treetops chief executive George Cameron and Alex Ward open new consultation room.

A new room for patients at a hospice in Risley has been opened which will mean that they can be visited by care consultants there rather than have to travel to hospital.

The room at Treetops was opened thanks to a donation by Western Power Distribution.

Simon Havill, Dave Croydon and Stella Hayward were on hand to officially open the room.

Treetops fundraiser Alex Ward said: “We are very grateful for this generous donation.”
