The cold snap this week left Ilkeston and the surrounding area covered in a blanket of white this week.

Although the snow caused little disruption in town, the freezing temperatures are set to continue with more wintery weather forecast this weekend.

After the snow has fallen, Bath Street inevitably becomes a slippery slope to climb so shoppers should take extra care over the next few days.

Some of these fantastic pictures were sent in by readers – keep your snaps coming in and we’ll publish them when we can.
