Pupils at Dallimore Primary School, Ilkeston, have been taking part in balance ability sessions to help them learn to ride bikes. During the six-week structured programme, children have had the opportunity to master the key aspects of static and dynamic balance. Combining ergonomic balance bikes with a schedule of fun activities that build confidence, spatial awareness and dynamic balance, the sessions have given the children skills to cycle without ever needing stabilisers.
