THE Friends of Kirk Hallam Lake and Meadows are hosting a wildlife walk on Sunday.
The group will meet at 1.30pm on September 25 in the lay-by near the lake on Godfrey Drive.
They will follow a route from from Kirk Hallam Lake to All Saints’ Church.
Secretary of the Friends of Kirk Hallam Church, Esther Collington, said: “The walk will leave the lake and end at the church via a pleasant stroll along the Nutbrook Stream, learning about the wildlife and the history on the way.
“The walk includes a look inside the ancient church, followed by refreshments provided by the Friends of Kirk Hallam Church.”
The walk, part of the Autumn Footprints Walking Festival, is free and everyone is welcome.
