LETTERS: Good news in ‘Tiser has positive effect

editorial image

I was very pleased to see the good news about Josh Jones as your headline and leading article last week.

The use of good news has a positive effect on our day-to-day lives and stimulates a little bit of pride for the town in which we live.

By contrast, the continual use of negative news leading the Advertiser, and we have murders, rapes and drug dealing pushed on us far too often, makes some of us feel rather ashamed of our town.

I know that when we have visitors from out of town, we sometimes hide the Advertiser.

Keep up the good work.
