LETTERS: Thanks to the Pride in Erewash team!

Please may I convey my sincere thanks to the Pride In Erewash team and Erewash Borough Council officer Richard Windsor.

The community litter pick system has proved a wonderful success and it is a credit to everyone who works in the Erewash team with Richard, from the staff organising the diary dates to the helping hands on the day, to the final collection and the ‘disposal’ team members involved with the process.

As members of the public, we don’t usually see everybody in the team, but I think I can speak on behalf of everyone that I have ever done a community litter pick with and that is - a big thank-you to all the staff at Pride In Erewash, your dedication in helping the community with our voluntary work is gratefully acknowledged and appreciated. Thank you.

The whole site has been vastly improved since we have done several community litter picks there over the past two years and to all volunteers, a special ‘thank-you’ too, without whose help we could not achieve such fantastic results.
