A teenage girl who abused staff at Bellini’s shop has apologised for her behaviour after she was in a group of youths hanging around outside the Heanor Road shop.
Police received reports of a group of youths causing anti-social behaviour inside and outside of a shop in October.
A 13-year-old girl verbally bused staff when the group were asked to move on.
She was identified as causing a Public Order offence, however, the incident was resolved when staff decided they were happy to accept a full apology.
PC Andy Kendal-Edwards from the Cotmanhay and Shipley View Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team said:” We are always happy to use restorative justice where appropriate.
“On this occasion the teenager expressed remorse for her actions and wrote a letter of apology and in our presence handed it in to the staff personally at Bellini’s.”
