Stories about the lives of former Ormiston Ilkeston Enterprise Academy (OIEA)students are being sought as part of a limited edition book.
The book is being created for the centenary anniversary of the King George Avenue building on OIEA’s Ilkeston site.
Kate Le Prevost, extended services officer at OIEA, said: “It would be good to find out a little more about what people did after they left school and also any famous faces that people can suggest.”
A memory sharing event is being held next Tuesday at the academy’s art gallery in King George Avenue. Anyone who has a story can attend between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.
Kate said: “We are really excited to give people the opportunity to come along and share their tales.”
OIEA was formerly known as Ilkeston County Secondary School, Ilkeston Grammar School and Ilkeston School.
