There will be animal-themed craft activities, competitions and the chance to meet some cute and creepy creatures at Erewash Museum in Ilkeston as part of its wildlife week, which runs from Monday August 18 to Friday August 22.
From Monday to Thursday the museum will host free drop-in sessions when children can have a go at craft activities between 11am and 3pm.
On Friday August 22 a wildlife workshop returns to give youngsters the chance to meet and explore the world of animals. Booking is essential for the event, which is suitable for children aged five and above, and costs £1 per child.
