Erewash Borough Council have announced a summer programme of free brass concerts.
The annual concert season named Bold as Brass featuring local bands and colliery bands, is always a big hit with residents and visitors to Erewash alike.
Hundreds bring along a picnic and pack out parks to watch the shows.
The next concert will see the Long Eaton Silver Prize Band play at the West Park band stand on Sunday June 8.
Cllr Mike Wallis, lead member for culture and leisure, said: “We are delighted to be staging this annual summertime treat for all music fans once again.
“The concerts are fabulous entertainment and provide a thoroughly enjoyable family outing.
“Take along your chairs or blankets and pack up a picnic to enjoy with family and friends.”
On Sunday July 6 at 6.30pm the Bestwood Black Diamonds will play at Victoria Park, Ilkeston and Newstead Brass will play at West Hallam Village Hall on the afternoon of Sunday
Sunday July 13 from 2pm.
