Burglars make off with items in pillowcase after Ilkeston home raid

Burglars used a pillowcase to steal items from an Ilkeston home.

This pillowcase was used to steal the items.

Police are investigating after the criminals broke into a house on Heanor Road.

They made off with a grey BMW 3 Series car which was later found in Nottinghamshire.

Other stolen items included computer tablets, a laptop and jewellery.

Officers said a pillowcase was stolen from the house and used to transport the items.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the crime - which happened between 2pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday, April 26 - should contact Detective Constable Emma Daniels on 101, quoting crime number 18192/16, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
