Concern over support for skip arsonist

Have your say

A judge and solicitor have raised concerns over the lack of health care for a firebug who started three skip blazes in Ilkeston.

They made their comments after a court heard that Kyle Place had not been helped by mental health professionals until he got into trouble.

A two-year conditional discharge was imposed on Place, 24, of Gallows Inn Close, Ilkeston, after he admitted arson on August 1, 8 and 19 at the Thermal Covers factory on Nottingham Road.
