A total of 1,337 people have been arrested for child sex offences in Derbyshire over the last seven years.
Figures from a Freedom of Information request show the force area with most arrests each year is Amber Valley, while the Peak District saw the least arrested.
The number of arrests for child sex offences in Chesterfield has declined since 2007 when 24 people were arrested. In 2008, there were 22 arrests with 20 in 2009. The latest results for Chesterfield, from 2013, show 10 people arrested.
