A revamped play area has been unveiled in Pleasley.

The facility on Terrace Lane Recreation Ground was officially opened by Councillor Howard Wright, chairman of Pleasley Parish Council, last Thursday.

Cllr Wright said: “We are delighted that work is complete. The project has provided a safe and stimulating play area for people of all ages and abilities.”

The £68,000 Bolsover District Council-funded project has seen old and unsafe play equipment replaced with exciting and challenging new pieces as well as the installation of a picnic site.
