A paedophile has got extra time in jail after a boy victim found the courage to talk about abuse which happened more than 30 years ago.

John Moss, now 49, was already in prison after abusing children in the Alfreton area over a 14-year period, ending in 1993.

He has now pleaded guilty to one charge of indecent assault between 1979 and 1981. At Derby Crown Court on February 26, he was jailed for a year and put on the Sex Offenders’ Register for a decade.
